Pharma's PPWR exemption is narrower than most assume. It covers recycled-content rules — not recyclability grades (2030), sorting labels (2028), or EPR fees (already live).

And since recyclability is scored by how much of the pack is recyclable, every component counts — including the desiccant, still non-recyclable silica gel in most packs. Paper-based alternatives like de:hum close that last gap.

The exemption buys time, not a pass.
